Course Comparison Changes: October 2026

· Facts checked

Every provider card in the aircraft broker course comparison was re-checked against the provider’s own website on 17 October 2026. Prices had not moved. Several descriptions had, or were wrong on our side, so this post lists each change. We publish one of these whenever the comparison changes, so you can see what moved and when.

Key points

  • All seven listed prices still match the providers’ sites: IABI $999 per course and $1,499 for both, Aircraft Broker Academy $1,499, Elysium Jet Academy $3,990, Monarch $1,800, Private Jet Institute $1,250, ACA £445 to £545 per level, The Broker Academy unlisted.
  • Five cards had wording changes. The biggest: Aircraft Broker Academy calls its credential a “university-style diploma” and describes no exam; Monarch’s published start date has passed; The Broker Academy’s multi-week tracks are sold to companies, not individuals.
  • IABI, the publisher of this guide, had left out facts about its own packages (non-refundable fees, $299 masterclasses, the internship). They are now on the card.

Aircraft Broker Academy

The card said “certificate of completion after a final test”. The provider’s site says “university-style diploma” and describes no exam, so the card now quotes those words. The support line changes from “one coaching session” (which we could not find on the site) to what is actually listed: access to its Inner Circle and a private Facebook group, with the Accelerator option adding a 3-day virtual bootcamp and work with a partner brokerage. The Accelerator price is stated more precisely: $1,499 plus $150 a month for Private Jet MLS access, with Afterpay instalments for US buyers only.

Monarch Broker School

The provider’s page still shows a March 2025 start date, so the card now says dates are unconfirmed and tells you to check that a new intake is scheduled before paying. “Classes capped at 10” was removed because the site does not say it. The curriculum line was rewritten to match the published syllabus (aircraft types and performance, charter options, the sales process, closing, post-sale support, regulatory compliance and ramp operations), and the assessment detail was added: weekly quizzes and assignments, then a final assessment. The enrolment line notes the site also invites real estate brokers and FBO staff.

The Broker Academy

The site moved to the www host, so the links were updated. More importantly, the 6-, 12- and 18-week tracks are sold to companies. Individuals get a 6-month one-on-one mentorship over Microsoft Teams, twice a week, with a final exam and a certificate. A 1-day assessment for experienced brokers is marked “coming soon”. The card and table now say so.

Air Charter Association

The Broker Qualification is still for staff of ACA member companies. The card now adds that a separate one-day Air Charter Essentials Certificate, launched in February 2026, is open to non-members.

IABI (the publisher)

We publish this guide, so we hold our own card to the same standard. Three facts were missing and are now on it: masterclasses are sold separately at $299 each; fees are non-refundable under IABI’s terms; and the Complete Program includes a 6-month guaranteed internship with Certified Jets, which is part of the same group as IABI. Every package includes 6 months of JetPay app membership. The terms links now point at IABI’s actual terms page rather than a course page.

Unchanged

  • Elysium Jet Academy: $3,990, cohort-based, monthly intakes capped at 10, no payment plans. No change.
  • Private Jet Institute: $1,250, online, self-paced, certificate not stated. No change.
  • All “checked” dates on the comparison now read 17 October 2026.

Missing a course?

If you run a broker course that should be listed, send us the page on your site that states the facts. We add providers after checking their pages directly, the same way as the others.
